At Contract Appliance we value your business and are committed to transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. Please review the following policies carefully. By completing an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Return and Refunds Policy
At Contract At Contract Appliance, your satisfaction is our priority. We understand that returns can be stressful, so our expert team is here to help you make the right decision before and after your purchase.
If a return becomes necessary, please contact your sales associate to begin the process. You may also call or email us using the contact information on our Contact Us page. Return procedures and authorizations vary depending on the reason for return.
1. Defective Products
Most products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. Refer to your product literature or consult one of our product experts for details.
- If your product is defective upon arrival, notify your product expert within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- If the defect is discovered after 48 hours, please contact the manufacturer directly using the contact information provided in the product documentation.
Note: Most manufacturers require at least one service call to diagnose the issue.
2. Damaged Products
All shipments are fully insured. Products damaged during shipping are eligible for exchange at no cost to you.
- Products are delivered by our professional delivery teams for all local deliveries. You may call us to confirm if you are within our local delivery area.
- Inspect your product carefully upon delivery. If damage is discovered, you have the right to refuse delivery.
- We will contact you to schedule a replacement delivery.

3. Product Does Not Meet Your Needs
If your product does not meet your expectations, please contact the store regarding possible cancellations or returns.
- Delivered products that have been used or installed cannot be returned.
- Returned products must be free of cosmetic damage.
- Products not meeting these conditions may be subject to a 25% restocking fee at minimum or deemed ineligible for return.
- Shipping and handling charges from our warehouses are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for any costs that Contract Appliance incurs to ship products back to the vendor.
4. Special Orders
Special-order merchandise may be subject to a 25% restocking fee at minimum, even if not yet delivered. Once delivered and unboxed, these items cannot be returned.
5. Refunds and Processing Time
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Products may be subject to a 25% restocking fee at minimum.
If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or credit card company to verify processing status.
Orders may be canceled before shipment without penalty. Once the order has shipped, it will be treated as a return and subject to the return policy.
6. Terms
By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to all terms stated herein and authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms.
Contract Appliance reserves the right to cancel any order at any time.
Shipping & Delivery Policy
We strive to process and ship all orders promptly.
- Items will ship as soon as possible from the date of purchase.
- Special orders may require additional lead time; customers will be notified once their item has arrived at our warehouse.
- We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
- Credit card authorization and verification must be completed prior to order processing.
Shipping & Handling Costs
Shipping and handling costs will be determined at the time of purchase or shipment.
Please Note:
- In-state (Utah) orders are subject to applicable state and local sales tax.
- Out-of-state orders will not be charged Utah sales tax unless otherwise required by law.
- Customers claiming tax exemption must provide a valid sales tax exemption certificate prior to order processing.
Acceptable Payment Methods
At Contract Appliance, we are committed to providing secure and transparent payment options. Please review our accepted methods below.
1. Online & Over-the-Phone Payments
- We use Podium, a secure payment platform, for all online and phone transactions.
- A secure payment link will be sent to you via email or text message.
- No other online payment methods are accepted.
2. In-Store Payments
- Payments can be made using our Podium card reader.
- We also accept checks payable to Contract Appliance at the time of payment.
- Products will not be released until full payment has been received and funds have cleared.
- Ownership of all products remains with Contract Appliance until payment in full is received.
3. Security & Fraud Protection
- Any payment instructions received via email, phone, or digital message that differ from the methods above are invalid.
- Contract Appliance will never change payment details via email.
- If you receive suspicious or conflicting payment instructions, contact our office immediately at 801-569-8850 to verify authenticity.
